Mayur Shoes began its journey in Pune in 1990, but the roots go much deeper. Our founder, Mr. Rajendra Sonawane, dreamt of opening a footwear store ever since he was a child. Working as a cobbler alongside his father on Prabhat Road during the late 1970s, he mastered the craft and learned the value of hard work, honesty, and customer care.

 

Through difficult times, with the support of his mother and family, Rajendra turned his vision into reality. What started as a small roadside service stall in Erandawane became a trusted name in footwear repairs and services throughout Pune.

 

In 2004, Mayur Shoes took a major step by opening its flagship store, introducing national and international brands, while staying rooted in providing personalized care and genuine service.
